This feature has been available for some time but we thought it worthwhile to illustrate it here again.
The normal way if manipulating groups of cad entities is with Cad - Id, Do_id and Man_id.
Id on the fly gives you quick access to many of the Id functions without having to click the above mentioned button.
Just check that the ID on the Fly option is selected and then activate the Fly menu by clicking the right mouse button while depressing the Shift key.
Note : Id on the fly only works for Cad. Id of dtm points and Gxt strings still need to be done using their own Id methods.
